Bukky Leo Afrobeat Quintet will be in the house bringing the groove of funky Lagos to The Pleasure Palace! Bukky Leo grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and was spotted by the original Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen and immediately invited to join Tony’s new band. Bukky went on to play with the great Fela Kuti where the seeds of Afrobeat were being sown. After sometime in the band, and under the influence of Tony Allen, Bukky decided to follow his journey with his own distinct style of Jazz and Afrobeat.
